Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

Come October 8th 2021, I will be joining the charity Mind and many other amazing fundraisers in hiking along Hadrian’s Wall. Located in beautiful Northumberland near the England-Scotland border, Hadrian’s Wall is an incredible UNESCO world heritage site surrounded by ancient Roman forts and historic abbeys dating back over 1000 years. All of which will be passed over the course of this challenge!
Marketed as Mind Hike: Dawn to Dusk, this event seems teams of Mind staff and fundraisers challenging themselves and each other to hike for a gruelling total of 12 hours, while raising money for a wonderful charity that continues to support and provide a beacon of hope for people facing mental health problems on a daily basis. If you are already aware of Mind’s previous work, through social media, in person or elsewhere, or simply want to ‘play your part’ in helping the growing number of people struggling with mental health difficulties, please take a look at my fundraising page below and consider donating. I totally understand if money is tight at the moment or you are in no position to donate, however I want to reiterate that every penny counts. Cliché I know but even giving £1 could go an awful long way! No pressure whatsoever (of course), but any support would be hugely appreciated!
With everything I’ve gone through and how much they’ve helped me, this will always remain a charity very close to my heart…
Stay safe.
