Why Have I Started A Website?

Having been involved in mental health campaigning for around six months now, I believe now is the time to start my own website and share my experiences on such a brilliant and useful platform.

It is something I have long wanted to do and having seen so many other great ones dedicated to mental health and raising awareness, it has given me the much needed inspiration to start my own. Having suffered with a mental illness for a number of years now, it has now become my huge passion to challenge the stigma that surrounds mental health and make it more accepted for people to talk about. Like many people, I suffered in silence for so many years and I want to channel those negative experiences into something more positive and worthwhile that others can relate to.

Moving forward my aim is to produce regular content around a range of mental health topics and share my own personal experiences. What has made a big difference to me in my road to recovery is hearing other people’s stories, all of which have been inspiring. Everybody’s journey is different and unique and I’m very much hoping that by sharing my story that it can help people and perhaps draw upon my experiences

As the old adage says, if it can help just one person then I have done my job!

Thanks for reading,

Adam
